Wearing the Summer’s Hottest Scarf Top Trend with a Pop of Leopard

What’s the fiercest thing you can have in your wardrobe right now? Yes, that’s right—a leopard print scarf top. I have other scarves that are more leopard-y than this vintage Coach one, but I liked the subtle pop of spots it added to my look. I scored it a few weeks ago at Value Village. Guess how much it cost me? $7. And it looks completely fierce!

A leopard print scarf top is the hottest summer trend.

I’ll admit, at first I was afraid that the scarf might just… fall down. Which, would have been totally embarrassing. However, I tied it extra tight and then wore my vintage Canali blazer on top just in case I had any last minute wardrobe malfunctions. (Thankfully I did not.) I paired it with vintage Wrangler shorts and my absolute favourite Charles & Keith mules. Then, I accessorized with gold hoops, layered necklaces and my favourite miniature purse.

Fun fact: my outfit was almost entirely thrifted. Everything except my shoes and jewellery were bought from Public Butter (shorts) and Value Village (scarf, purse and blazer). Those four items cost me approximately $55. See? You don’t have to spend a fortune to look fab.

This was my look for Call It Spring’s Find Your Sole City pop-up event at Stackt Market. It was so much fun! I went with my friend Kateryna. My “sole city” was Tokyo and hers was Ibiza. Marfa, Texas was another option but neither of us were even close. The event was set up so you could explore signature drinks from each city and explore the brand’s city-inspired collections. Of course, all the while wearing your fierce leopard print scarf top.

So, what are you waiting for? Hop on this trend and get fierce.
