4 of the Fiercest Thrifted Outfits I’ve Worn This Month ~ August 2019

Fiercest Thrifted Outfits — Pleather Jacket & Leopard Biker Shorts | The Lady-like Leopard Blog

I’m switching it up a bit in this post and featuring four of my favourite and fiercest thrifted outfits from my personal insta—not @ladylikeleopard. Why? Well, why not? I post different photos there than on leopard and they deserve to be seen too. Especially when it comes to my fiercest thrifted outfits. Not to be conceited, but they’re seriously wild. And their prices are even wilder.

Tiger Print Dress

This ferociously gorgeous dress was a last minute find at Value Village. I hadn’t found very many things I wanted, and spotted this gem hanging on a random rack on my way to the fitting room. It was love at first sight. I just had to have it. Essentially it was: I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it.

Cost: $11

Canali Pinstriped Blazer

This Canali blazer is hands down the fiercest thrifted outfit (or part of an outfit) that I’ve ever found. Its value is unparalleled. If you’re unaware (as I was until I started working at Harry Rosen), Canali blazers retail for upwards of $2,000. I got this one for $8.

Cost: $8

Leather Bustier & Calvin Klein Jeans

The leather bustier is from Kind Exchange and my CK jeans are from Public Butter. I love how they look together. I wore this outfit to an art exhibit and paired it with (of course) my mini purse and a pair of square toe heels. It feels so good to wear an outfit that’s almost entirely second-hand but still manage to feel like one of the best dressed in the room.

Cost: $40

Pleather Wrap Jacket

This is my ultimate go-to coat right now. Or at least it will definitely be when the weather gets a little cooler. Not that I’m hoping for cold weather, I want this summer to extend far past its usual limits. But how cool is this pleather jacket? I was thrifting with a friend and he came running over to me with it and told me that I absolutely had to try it on. So, I did and fell in love.

Cost: $2.50

You make me want to google “thrift stores in my hood”
Actually it should be past tense as I already did.

Thank you!! I find most places in Toronto are usually waaay pricier than what you’ve scored but will try! 🙂
