How to Subtly Add a Leopard Print Statement to Your Look

Subtle Leopard Print | The Lady-like Leopard

Wearing animal prints doesn’t have to be crazy out of control. Adding subtle leopard print to your look is as easy as carrying a clutch or looping a belt through your Calvin Kleins. Or even tying a scarf into your pony tail a la Ruth Bader Ginsburg. (Two things I learned from On the Basis of Sex: be a power woman and invest in statement scarves & earrings.)

I know that I come across as a ~Leopard Queen~ on social media (not to be conceited or anything)—but sometimes I just want a subtle leopard print look too. After all, it only takes a pop of print to be fierce. Just check out these photos (below) from a recent shoot I did with @madam_evangeline!

Adding Subtle Leopard Print to Your Look

Style tip: When you’re wearing an all-over black-on-black outfit, an animal print something can be just what you need to take your look to the next level. See how my leopard scarf just adds a little bit of spice to this look? Also, those are my fabulous vintage cowboy boots! I’m obsessed with them.

Here are a few other ways to add a subtle leopard print
edge to your outfit:

Carry a leopard print clutch.

So, whether you want to wear head-to-toe leopard or just add small spots, you can still look just as fierce. As I’ve preached before, it’s how you wear them. From belts to scarves and everything in between, your peak ferocity is just an accessory away.
