3 Ways to Style Leopard Prints in Your Summer Wardrobe

Summer Leopard Prints at Hotel X Toronto Staycation | The Lady-like Leopard by Melina Morry

The sun is shining and my penchant for prints is fiercer than ever. Of course, as you’ve probably already guessed—my warm weather wardrobe is packed to the brim with summer leopard prints. From dresses to button-downs, sandals to bags, I’ve got it all. And I’m not trying to brag. I’m just showing you that with all of these printed garments, I think I know a thing or two about how to fiercely style them.

In the summertime, leopard prints run wild. For those of you who aren’t comfortable rocking an all-over print or making too bold of a statement, there are safer options. Summer leopard prints come in all shapes and sizes. The most common would be bikinis, sandals, belts and sunglasses. But if you’re looking to get a little more ferocious than that, read on for all the details.

3 Ways to Style Summer Leopard Prints

A silky skirt & blouse combo

Flowing tops, loosely fitted skirts and plunging necklines are all staples during the summer months. For this look, I paired a leopard print dress with Atelier Guarin’s Selene wrap top. (The dress looks like a skirt, I know. I rolled down the top & hid it in the wrap part of the top so it looked like a skirt for this outfit.) And of course, white square-toe sandals were a must. Nothing screams summer-ready like white sandals!

Buttoned up & tied at the waist

A button-down blouse is a key piece for summer. Especially in a fierce leopard print! Here, I paired it with high-waisted vintage Calvin Klein jeans and strappy black sandals. Also, the red cross body bag gives a vibrant pop to the look. No doubt, so do the micro-Matrix sunglasses. Swipe to the next photo to see the (almost) full look.

Long, strappy & belted

This is about as simple as you can get with summer leopard prints: a spaghetti strap maxi dress. For added interest, I looped on a leopard print belt. You totally don’t have to take that extra printed step to wear this look! For example, you can definitely wear a different belt or even no belt at all. You know me, I just wanted to get as leopard-y as I could. These strappy black sandals are actually the ones I also paired with the above look. You’ve gotta love a versatile shoe!

How do you babes style your summer leopard prints? Let me know & stay fierce.
