Take a Cue From These Celebs—This is How to Pose in Leopard Print

Celebs in Leopard Caroline Vreeland | The Lady-like Leopard Blog by Melina Morry

Leopard print can be an extremely intimidating thing to wear. However, celebs in leopard make it look incredibly effortless. How do they do it? First of all, it’s about confidence. Once you’re confident, you can start to channel your most fierce inner-self. The exact pose you do doesn’t really matter. As long as you commit to whatever your pose is, it’ll come through on camera.

I can’t stress enough how important your confident attitude is though. After all, you’re wearing the leopard print—it’s not wearing you. And if it is wearing you, well, then you’re in a bit of predicament. In this case, full-on leopard prints might not be for you but there are plenty of leopard accessories you can rock.

So, here’s how to channel celebs in leopard for your fiercest printed pose yet.

How to Pose Like Celebs in Leopard Print

1. Giovanna Battaglia

This woman is hands down, the queen of leopard. Whether she’s wearing leopard print pants, a skirt, dress or jacket—her poses are always extra fierce. Yet, they look nonchalant at the same time. Even here, she’s wearing head-to-toe leopard print and lounging on a furniture display at Bergdorfs, but she still looks effortless.

2. Caroline Vreeland

If you’re going to go bold, you might as well go extra bold. Caroline Vreeland is definitely not afraid of going the extra mile to make sure her love of leopard print is heard loud and clear. And I love that. Her hands are in her pockets, her gaze is on you and her walk is straight from the runway. This is a top notch example of celebs in leopard.

3. Elsa Hosk

One of my favourite things about Elsa Hosk is her penchant for prints—particularly leopard. You’ve got to appreciate a woman who isn’t afraid to rock a head-to-toe leopard print look with a red fanny pack and patent leather boots. As you can imagine, this look and pose would turn quite a few heads. I need to wear this!

4. Kendall Jenner

Leopard is sexy. There’s no doubt about that. Well, and so is Kendall Jenner if we’re being honest here. So why not add a little extra sex appeal to your leopard print pose? Truthfully, this pose isn’t for everyone and will probably require an extra boost of confidence on your part. But if you can pull it off, all the power to you!

5. Diane von Furstenberg

Take a cue from the leopard print OG Diane von Furstenberg on how to pose in leopard: just have fun! The ladies in leopard at DVF know a thing or two about having fun in this wild pattern. Also, this is a great example of how to pose (and style) three ways in one leopard garment.

6. Anna dello Russo

If you’re printed like a wild animal, a surefire pose can take place in the wild, too. Anna dello Russo’s leopard coat looks right at home in the greenery. It may not be a jungle, but it’s as close as us city slickers can get.

7. Doutzen Kroes

Heading out on the town with your BFF has never looked cuter than Doutzen makes it look! Leopard prints don’t always have to be overly sexy and ferocious—they can be innocently sweet, too. Let your pattern take the centre stage by toning down the pose just a little bit.

8. Kate Moss

Okay, I know I said earlier that Giovanna Battaglia was the queen of leopard—but she’s going to have to share that title with Kate Moss. Kate has been one of my style icons for years and never more so than when she’s in leopard. Just take a look at this pose! It screams a majorly fierce attitude.

9. Bella Hadid

In the wild, leopards lounge a lot. I mean, they can’t always be hunting prey. Bella Hadid shows off a perfectly relaxed way to pose in leopard. It’s also fun to switch up your poses from standing to sitting every now and then.

10. Shea Marie

These two are total style icons! But besides that, I love how Shea Marie took this opportunity to show off this excellent leopard look. Elongating your legs is always a good idea.
