In this edition of Leopard Letters, I wanted to talk about creating your own magic. It seemed fitting after spending quite a bit of time in virtual reality in June – which to many is magic in itself. I attended the opening of VR Playin TO, launched a fashion tech blog called VR in Vera Wang and spent 3 days exploring different realities at VRTO.
Leopard Letters: Creating Your Own Magic
So, what is magic? I think it’s anything you want it to be. But one thing’s for sure: it’s way more worth it when you create it yourself. You know what I mean? Making things happen for yourself instead of waiting around for something to happen.
Make it your goal this month to go out and do something different. Force yourself out of your comfort zone, talk to that handsome stranger or go after that job you’ve had your eye on. I promise you’ll be happy with the magic you create! Hell, even if it’s just switching up your usual black-on-black outfit for one with a magically bold print.
Okay, that last point might just refer to me. I recently bought a navy blue floral printed two-piece set from Joe Fresh and let me tell you, it is magical. But that’s another story.
It’s also Canada’s 150th birthday month! The entire country is lit up with magic. I feel so proud to be a Canadian and my travels around the world have only made it clearer to me that being a Canadian citizen is something to cherish. Thank you for being home, Canada.
And while we’re talking about Canada, I wrote a post about the new Canadian tuxedo. Or, the new Canadian tuxedo according to me: Leopard print! Check out my post about 10 celebs who love leopard as much as I do.
