Another thing you should do when you spend the weekend in Missouri is to go on a wine trail in Hermann. The trail begins in Hermann and travels 20 miles across the river to New Haven. It’s a great chance to try lots of different wineries. They often do special events such as a cheese and wine trail. It’s a lot of fun and you can expect to get tipsy. Have a shopping spree at the Country Club Plaza
You should also do some shopping during your weekend in Missouri at the Country Club Plaza, which is situated in Kansas City. Pack a picnic in Forest Park in St. Louis
Another thing you must do while you are in Missouri for the weekend is to visit the St.Louis’ Forest Park. There’s loads to look at and plenty of space to have a lovely picnic. You should also consider visiting the world’s largest rocking chair in Cuba while you are staying in Missouri. The chair which stands at 42 feet tall was named the largest in the world eight years ago. You can’t actually sit on it (boo!), but you can get some great pictures of the huge chair!
Visit the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City
Another sightseeing spot you must go to while you are in Missouri is the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. The iconic monument is dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the first world war. You should check the museum out inside and head up to the observation deck which offers fantastic views over the city.
