My look: structure, suede and a handmade clutch
Today I went for a simpler look – wrap vest from Zara, wide leg trousers from H&M, strappy sandals from Topshop and last but not least, my handmade, leather clutch from Peru. I was so excited to debut the clutch. It’s always exciting to know that you have something that you’re 99% sure no one else will have. That’s one part of fashion that really thrills me.
What I’m wearing:
white lace bralette | EL CLOSET DE MI HERMANA
white wide leg pants | H&M
black suede wrap vest | ZARA
strappy heels | TOPSHOP
round sunnies | PERUVIAN MARKET
handmade leather clutch | PERUVIAN MARKET
Toronto Fashion Week Day 2: unttld
Congratulations! UNTTLD was the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Start Up. I loved this collection from beginning to end and it kind of reminded me of my outfit of the day – black, white, wrapped. I felt that the pieces were very classic but with a distinct modern edge.
Toronto Fashion Week Day 2: Laura Siegel
The loose fitting and draping fabrics were my favourite part about Laura Siegel’s collection – and of course that electric blue coat. All the pieces seemed very interchangeable with each other and easy to wear on a regular day basis. Also loved that the girls were wearing sneakers! It makes it much easier to envision walking down the street.
Toronto Fashion Week Day 2: Beaufille
The award for the best cut-outs should go to Beaufille. I loved the sneaky bits of uncovered skin in each outfit. Although some of the looks had quite a low neckline, they made up for it by having longer sleeves, longer hems and showing just the right amount of cleavage. I’d say you could get away with wearing some of these to the office even – and then out for drinks.
