CULTURAL FASHION | How to work a little "culture" into your autumn #ootd

I’m back in Toronto for my favourite season: fall. Well, in terms of fashion it’s my favourite season. This is when you can still sport bare legs, spaghetti strapped shoulders and peep toe shoes while draping a gorgeous wool, leather, denim jacket over top.

It’s the best of both worlds.

For this #ootd, I paired a black tee, black denim and snow white sneakers with my burgundy leather trench coat. I know I’ve mentioned this little fact before but I swear it never gets old – this genuine leather coat cost a mere 50 cents. Yup, you read that right. #queenofvintage

So, now for the culture aspect. The bag I’m carrying is a white (goat, maybe?) fur cross-body bag I bought in Mexico a few years ago while on a romantic trip with an ex-boyfriend (hey, at least the bag lasted) and the big blue ring is one I recently bought at the markets at Parque Kennedy in Lima, Peru.

I wouldn’t dream of dressing in a head to toe Peruvian or Mexican outfit, but when you work in little elements here and there it adds a little somethin’ somethin’ to your look.
