People in Toronto are obsessed with patios. That’s a statement I feel confident making after moving here just over a year ago and having everyone I met suggest we grab drinks “on a patio”. At first I didn’t really understand why but now that I’ve seen how dreadfully long a winter here can be, I couldn’t be more obsessed with patios myself.
So in true Toronto fashion, I left work a little bit early and headed for the newly launched NAO Steakhouse garden patio in Yorkville. I love that part of town – it feels like you’re in a totally different city from downtown Toronto. Things are much more laid back, and although pricey, a great little escape.
The patio had such a great feel to it. It was the perfect post-work hang out for Grey Goose vodka sodas and fabulous people. I would definitely return to Nao and this time to indulge in one of their signature steaks – mmm.
Thanks to Contrabande Creative for extending the invite to enjoy the patio. Remember guys, it’s the #summerofNAO so get over there and check it out.
